Family Caregiver Workshops
November is National Family Caregivers Month! Baltimore City joins the nation in recognizing family members, friends, neighbors, and other unpaid supportive individuals who care for older adults, grand children and people with disabilities. There are more than 53 million family caregivers nationwide, including thousands in Baltimore City, who give compassionate assistance and support to loved ones and others in need. Often caregivers sacrifice their own wellbeing. Please join in saluting the immeasurable contributions of family caregivers through words of encouragement, giving them a break from caregiving, hosting a special event, and connecting them to supportive resources.
