September is National Preparedness Month

September is National Preparedness Month, and this year's theme is "Be Disaster Aware.  Take Action To Prepare." Check out the many resources and tips provided by BCHD's Office of Public Health Preparedness & Response here.  During National Preparedness Month, public and private organizations across the country are spreading the word about emergency preparedness.  BCHD encourages all City residents to learn more about the types of emergencies that can happen in Baltimore and what they can do to become more prepared.

Senior Center Activities Suspended through January 31st

Baltimore, MD (January 4, 2022) – Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases the Baltimore City Health Department will suspend in-person senior center activities effective today (01/04/2022) to help curb community transmission. This directive impacts the following city-operated senior center locations, including the Cherry Hill location operated in partnership with the Department of Recreation and Parks.
