Baltimore, MD (January 4, 2022) – Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases the Baltimore City Health Department will suspend in-person senior center activities effective today (01/04/2022) to help curb community transmission. This directive impacts the following city-operated senior center locations, including the Cherry Hill location operated in partnership with the Department of Recreation and Parks:
The Health Department’s Aging Services will continue to provide telephonic services to its members and provide grab-and-go boxed meals at senior center locations on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please call the centers in advance to check on hours and availability.
Older residents and family caregivers who require additional support during this time should call the Maryland Access Point at (410) 396-CARE (7723) for assistance.
