World AIDS Day

The Baltimore City Health Department and its partners will hold official ceremonies commemorating the day on Friday, November 30, 2018, at the Baltimore War Memorial.The program includes:
- Breakfast
- Musical performance by Baltimore's own Davon Fleming
- Storytelling
- The official launch of the Undetectable=Untransmittable (U=U) campaign
- Invited speakers include officials from Baltimore City, Maryland State Department of Health, and the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD)
U=U is the scientifically proven fact that a person who is living with HIV, takes their HIV medications as prescribed, and is virally suppressed, cannot transmit HIV to their sexual partners.
