Baltimore City Health Department to Relocate Some  
Druid Health Center Services in October

Existing Family Planning and Sexual Health and Wellness Clients
Can Receive Care at Total Health Care

BALTIMORE, MD (Monday, September 29, 2025) – The Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD) announced that the Druid Health Center located in West Baltimore, will relocate some services starting Tuesday, October 14 to Total Health Care (1501 W. Saratoga Street). While BCHD remains committed to serving clients in West Baltimore, long-standing facility issues in some areas of the Druid Health Center have led to this partial relocation, despite extensive maintenance efforts over the years.  

"While relocating services is never easy, we remain committed to improving access to quality care and a smooth and supportive transition for all patients. We are also excited to work more closely with our partners at Total Health Care, with whom we’ve had a longstanding relationship,” said Dr. Michelle Taylor, Health Commissioner. “During this transition, we remain focused on the well-being of our patients and staff and ensuring that essential services continue with as little disruption as possible.”

  • Relocation Open Date: Tuesday, October 14, 2025 
  • The Dental Clinic will remain at Druid Health Center at this time

BCHD is committed to a smooth and supportive transition for patients. Care will continue at the Druid Health Center through October 3, 2025, and patients will not be left without access to services.

Those in need of clinical services can call or visit the BCHD Clinic at Total Health Care at 1501 W. Saratoga Street or the Eastern Health Center at 1200 E. Fayette Street. Patients receiving care at the Druid Health Center are encouraged to call with questions or to speak with staff about the next steps in their care and transportation options. Code Red Extreme Heat Alert Extended through Wednesday

BALTIMORE, MD (Tuesday, July 29, 2025) – Due to continued dangerously high temperatures and high humidity, the Baltimore City Health Department has extended its Code Red Extreme Heat Alert through Wednesday, July 30. The alert, initially set to expire on Tuesday, July 29, is now extended to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents, particularly vulnerable populations.
