Baltimore City Health Department Announces New Clinical Hours for Sexual Health Services

BALTIMORE, MD (Tuesday, October 29, 2024) – Today, the Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD) announces a change in operating hours for two sexual health clinics. Effective Thursday, November 7, 2024, the Eastern Sexual Health and Wellness Clinic and the Druid Sexual Health and Wellness Clinic will have new clinic hours to optimize resources, while continuing to deliver quality care.

New Clinic Hours are:

  • Eastern Sexual Health and Wellness Clinic | 1200 E. Fayette St.
    Monday and Friday | 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    Wednesday| 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Druid Sexual Health and Wellness Clinic | 1515 W. North Ave.
    Tuesday and Thursday | 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

“Our commitment to providing quality sexual health services remains unwavering,” said Interim Health Commissioner, Mary Beth Haller. “In addition to a change in hours, we have restructured our appointments to better serve our patients and maintain the excellent care our patients have come to expect.”

Despite the change in hours, the clinics will continue to offer the best care to every individual within the City of Baltimore. We strongly encourage all clients to schedule their appointments. A limited number of walk-in appointments are available on a first come, first served basis.

This alert has been issued due to forecasted wind chills expected to dip to 13 degrees overnight Monday and remain in the teens through Thursday morning. These extreme cold conditions could pose significant health risks to residents within the City of Baltimore.

This alert has been issued due to forecasted wind chills expected to dip to 13 degrees overnight Saturday and remain in the teens through Tuesday. These extreme cold conditions, mixed with wintry weather, could pose significant health risks to residents within the City of Baltimore.
