Health Commisisoner Dr. Leana Wen will be speaking to Baltimore Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Program students about the importance of volunteerism and outreach as a professional. The program seeks to tap into the idealism of medical, law, dental, pharmacy, nursing, social work and public health students and channel that idealism toward solving problems in Baltimore City in areas like homelessness, recidivism, drug addiction, childhood obesity and illiteracy.
